While there is no predetermined number, Liferay and their Premier
Partners constantly monitor the respective regions to create an optimum
business environment for all our partners to grow.
Q: What is the difference between Premier and Preferred Partners?
A:
Premier Partners provide the marketing and support infrastructure for
Preferred Partners to succeed. While both partners participate in
consulting, development, training, and sales functions, the Premier
Partner along with Liferay provide support for all Preferred Partners
within its region.
Liferay Annual Certification Requirement
Q:
Once I pass Liferay's Skill Certification exam will I need to take
another certification exam when it is time for me to enroll in the
Annual Recertification Program?
A: Once you have passed the Liferay
Skill Certification exam you will not need to retake it provided your
certification is current. Enrollment in the Annual Certification
Program is required to keep your certification current.
Q: How many Liferay Certified developers do I need?
A: Partners must maintain a minimum of two Liferay certified developers on staff.

Q: Who provides the training?
A:
Premier, Preferred Partners, and Liferay provide training for clients
in their respective territory. Premier Partners along with Liferay
provide training support for Preferred Partners. Liferay provides
certification training for Premier and Preferred Partners.
Revenue Benefits for Consulting and Development Services
Q: What are the revenue benefits for consulting and development services?
A:
The revenue benefit for consulting and development services is
determined by the level of involvement. For example, if a Partner
completes a consultant project without requiring assistance from
Liferay then the Partner is entitled to 100% of revenues from the
project.
